Lisa Escamilla is a paralegal of the Law Firm that handles both litigation and pre-litigation matters. Shortly after graduating from Marymount University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2013, she moved back to her home state of New York where she worked in local politics for the Putnam County Legislative Office. After relocating to Florida in 2016, Lisa worked for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for several years, working in the Civil Process/Injunctions Department as an office assistant. In 2020, Lisa obtained her Paralegal Certificate at Hillsborough Community College.

After leaving the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Lisa went to work at Morgan & Morgan in the Consumer Protection Department for the next two years. During her time at Morgan & Morgan, Lisa worked on Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) cases, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) cases, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) cases and personal injury cases. Now working at The Consumer Lawyers, PLLC, Lisa brings charisma, knowledge, and enthusiasm to the Firm.
